BANDUL, PEMBERAT, TIMAH, SINKER

Adventure with Bike Mount

Tips & Triks
Besides hiking and mountenering, ride a mountain bike (MTB) is called a challenging adventure. Some advantages using MTB as an adventure or just a walk in nature, is the very distant cruising than hiking by foot. All the fields that can be passed on foot would have to use a MTB. Unless the terrain to climb (rock climbing) or down a cliff (rapeling)
In addition to the wide coverage and far, with mountain biking you will feel the sensation that is not measurable when the encounter long derivative. Encouraging bike at full speed, across the corner, jump over bumps, drop-off in the recesses of land .... an experience that will not be forgotten. Not to mention the wind blowing on my face when he drove very fast on the field of derivatives ... like riding a jet-coaster.
Everything is capable of adrenaline, a pounding heart and as if in this world there's only us, bikes and tracks. Not to mention when we drove through the bushes, twigs and leaves, as if through a mysterious tunnel .... as if we will enter another world.
It took hours of high flying in order to control the bike properly and safely in a variety of high-speed tracks. It takes skill and skill can not be instant, we get without playing ... playing ... and playing in nature. The more often the natural cycle to the more skilled we control the bike and know what we do when encounter various types of tracks. So we know exactly how to drive on the track sandy soil, rocky tracks (macadam), slippery clay track, and dirt-covered ground rotting leaves and so on.
Before you start mountain biking adventure in the wild, make sure the conditions in the state of the body fit and healthy. Forget this activity if we are in a state does not fit or sick. Because of the unhealthy condition of body search only hurt and will only make trouble companion. Unhealthy body conditions will make no maximum concentration, no energy and will only worsen the condition because the body organs are forced to work hard.
Make sure that the conditions in the state of the bike ready for a fight. Check brake function something perfect, whether the brakes were still thick canvas and does not leak brake fluid (hydraulic brakes), see also whether the brakes were still thick rubber (v brake). Tighten bolts (quickrelease) in the hub. Check also the wind at the front and rear shock is not too loud or too soft. Wet chain with lubricating oil. Especially dry chain will rust easily damaged and broken.
Make sure the brake lever and the switching gear worked perfectly. Likewise, the switching gear system is working well, do not jump or do not want to move.
When facing a steep uphill track make sure the teeth on the front and rear light position. Front blade smallest crank, and the rear blade greatest seprocket. If too much light can be adjusted with the stroke. Install high saddle, so we paddled like the running, this will alleviate strokes. The more steep slopes greater the gravity force to the rear. If our bodies are too backward so the front tires will likely rise and we will fall. Keep the body leaning forward, to make the front tires stay flat on the track.
Pedal slowly, do not hurry or anxious, enjoy the semester after semester, we wrote a track to climb through. Breathe as normally as possible, equate the rhythm when stepping off the air, when he pulled the pedal pull the breath. The more we played a lot more intense then we on the rise. The rest there is a problem fortitude and patience ... .. through suffering.
When the long and derivatives across a steep, make sure our weight a little backward. This meant that we should balance the gravity force to the fore and rear wheels stay flat on the track. Bikes so we can certainly control. Do not be too eager across generations. Look far ahead, not the front tire. Derivatives on the track we will drive very fast, with a view far ahead we could see a wider track in front of us, we will know and will decide which path to take. Look carefully at the track, if there are rocks, roots that crossed, in a niche, muddy soil, soil covered with moss and so on.
In derivative steep and slippery, do not use the front brake, use the rear brake to slow down occasionally. Pressing hard rear brake lever would only make the rear tires and the twisted rear tire lost cause contractions in the soil, so the bike difficult to control.
Play nice mountain bike but also risky and dangerous, then we need to wear a helmet, elbow protectors, knee and gloves. In addition we will usually play at a location away from the crowds, away from the stalls to eat, shop or bike shop. So pack (hydrobag) that we bring to you the contents with all the equipment, such as bring snacks and drinks, rain jacket, P3K equipment, spare tire, pump, tire opening, the key L, glue and patched tires, tool chain connector, oil lubricants, tires opening bars.
Better our backpacks heavy but we are safe and comfortable adventure with a mountain bike in nature, than we want to runaway and did not carry the equipment. If something happens on the road, such as a flat tire or broken chain, hoping to bring the equipment just friends, if not, then we will lead our bikes along the tracks to find the garage, or car to the city charter. Sad is not it?
If we want to assemble or buy a mountain bike, make sure first what kind of bike you want adapted to the type of game and what path to go through. If we only want to play in mild off-road tracks, in and out of the dirt road in villages. So our choice is the type of bike cross-country (XC) with a front shock only (hardtail)
If we dream of a bike that is expected to be played in all fields, through the rise and fall is not too extreme then the choice of all mountain bike (PM) with fullsuspension on the front and the rear is perfect.
Whereas if we want a more exciting challenge, down the hill or mountain in a high speed adrenaline, leaped high mound, or drop off 1 to 2 meters, then bike option we raft is Freeride (FR) or downhill (DH).
If you already know exactly what kind of bike you want, and how much budget we have. We've been able to assemble a bike that we want. This mountain bike assembling advantages, can be adjusted with the budget we have. Because every time when we have more money and we want to challenge the frame and components lauin can we upgrade to a higher. Or replace the premises spec bike more.
For beginners, the first time to play bike, a suitable type of bike is XC. Along with the frequency of play, the better control on many fronts, it can be changed later to a bicycle AM, did not stop there if you want another challenge, like trying to drop off as high as 1 meter can be assembled over the FR or DH bike.
Many options bicycle frames and components XC, AM and FR / DH in the market. Usually different prices to determine the material type, weight or lightness, durability and comfort of a frame or mountain bike components.
Many brands of frames and components are bought and sold on the market. Is useful to look first at bike shops, be picky, browsing the network, asked a friend who was already playing a bicycle, the frame and components of what is good and in accordance with the budget we have.
Assembling the bike will usually make the budget swelled, because usually we would choose the frame and good components. If it does not want to happen, the only option is to buy a mountain bike intact (full bike) who lived and the way we ride.
Do not forget to bring communications tools like HP or HP Satellite or if you want a new track eksplore to bring a map and GPS is highly recommended. GPS is useful to record our journey, so if we will return to the track we do not bother to ask or to recall. Or if we lost we would be led back to the original track. GPS also tells us the average cycling speed (average speed), maximum speed in the derivative (max speed), time to move (moving time), distance (Odo-meter), quiet time / rest (stop time), the contour of the track, height of land from the sea surface and so on

Championships—Lots of fun, with a little bit of racing

Strippers on the course? Racers pelted with marshmallows? It can only be the Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships.
Hosted for the third year in Portland (where else is a ’cross race going to be routed through a bus with strippers as well as a 40-foot-high “Thunderdome”—the event is more of a ride—the word carnival also comes to mind—than a traditional race, but still included some damn fine competition
But the fiercest action wasn’t for the podium’s top spot, however; it was a battle between cities for the right to host next year’s competition. Organizers in Portland decided they should pass the torch after this year’s event, and the SSCXWC would rotate between cities, a la the SSWC.
The fight to host began with the Great Debate—the first of three contests organizers would use to decide the next host city. Riders from San Francisco and Seattle battled against one another in the debate. They would also use their race times and the results of a sumo match inside the Thunderdome to decide the winner.
Round one went to Seattle, with Brian Forness of Raleigh Bicycles beating out the legendary Sheila Moon of San Francisco in the debate. The cage match was a brutal affair, with Seattle’s chosen gladiator body-slamming the San Francisco delegate in the opening seconds of the match, only to later be disqualified for carrying her out of the ring.
Ultimately, Seattle won the battle and took the honors of hosting the event next year. The city’s chosen racer, Kari Studley, not only beat the San Francisco delegate, but also won the women’s overall title—and the tattoo. Drew Mackenzie, who won last year, took first in the men’s field.

how to maintain a bike

bicycle care is an activity that should not be abandoned after cyclingt. This bike is a treat for connoisseurs of duty bicycle ride intended to be durable and ready for the next track.
You do not need to be a reliable technician to perform routine maintenance, no need to also invest in particular mechanical equipment. you need to have is the willingness to spend time caring for a bike.
once you have the will and time, is preparing the next set of allen keys, opening a chain, a small paint brush, old toothbrush, brush the bathroom floor, DEGREASER, and a lubricant. all this equipment you can buy your subscription bicycle shop, but an old toothbrush and brush the floor, of course.
First, a bike wash with a way to use water from the hose with a pressure medium. Never wash any dirty bike using high pressure water (steam). high-pressure water will make the water into between - between the components and can not be removed easily. other than that the use of steam will make grease out of the attachment of the components eg bearings, iron projectile (pellet) that should be protected.
use soap or shampoo best car wash / motorcycle. use the floor brush to clean the tire and knocked out of dried mud and other dirt. remember too stiff brush can injure the surface of the tire and even leave scars scar. use an old toothbrush to clean the parts - the part that is difficult to reach like the tube around the front derailleur, the inside of Cassete, and others - others. Cassete and chain clean with a brush while spraying with water from the hose.
quickly dry the bike frame with a special fabric water absorbent. try to tilt the bike to the left and the right to remove trapped water inside. Do not forget to make up a bike with the rear wheels while to drain the remaining water. some bicycle manufacturers make waste water hole in some parts of the frame to facilitate the water flow out. please see and be seen which parts of it. usually on the inside chainstay near the free hub, then the lower bottom bracket. for user hollowtech II, make sure there is no water left in the bottom bracket as they will.
The next step, remove the chain with the help of chain opener. spray with DEGREASER. do not use wd40 but it conditions your chain has really bad, for example rust. hanging chain and allow a few moments until the rest of the dirt whole. Do not spray DEGREASER long chain still attached. This risk of fluid into the freehub as bb or dissolve grease and installed.
never use gasoline to clean the chain, Cassete and Crankset. other than petroleum is also increasingly rare risk of a particular component parts made of elastic rubber and plastic will harden and can even lose its function.
wait until the chain really - really dry and clean. after that Give lubricant with a special lubricant chain. usually there are two types, dry and wet. use wet type is often used as a bike on the track wet. so contrary. after that put the chain back into place.
lubricant in the region provide a good derailleur front and rear. try to play the shifter and make sure they run perfectly. sometimes you have to do fine tuning after the bike used in heavy terrain.
while waiting for the chain is dry, you can treat the frame with a given substance coating the frame. This polisher is equipped with Teflon to protect the frame from the defects caused by hard objects such as the impact of gravel. at least it is written in the can label. how effective? I need to monitor first.
do check some of the components with the tool appropriate key. almost all the bikes now use the allen key. check stem, headset, handlebars, rd, fd, and all mechanical parts. make sure everything was installed properly.
how long it takes to do it all? depends on how careful and patient you are. usually, I spend 2 hours outside the chain of drying time. some goeser even let the chain dry for 24 hours before the given lubricant and replacing it. It's up to you all.
Cycling will feel comfortable when we ride a bike is always in good condition, how to care for MTB mountain bike to keep it in maximum performance. One way is to always wash it, wash your mountain bike will make clean from dirt bikes to disrupt the performance and optimal performance of our mountain bikes.
Here are Tips and Tricks for treating a mountain bike with MTB bike to wash properly, tips and tricks gives MTB cleaning techniques ranging from saddles to the braking system. The entire process can be done not less than 35 - 40 minutes.
The following steps MTB bike wash well and correctly:
1. Remove all the accessories that are on the handle bar (handlebar), for example: bells, lights, speedometer, etc.. If you use V brakes off by pressing the cable connecting the two sides Calipers. Engineering v brakes disconnect is true if you use V brakes on the rear wheels.
2. Play back your bike, to avoid blisters on the saddle and grips you can use the base that is not too hard and soft for example we can use a mat with a thickness of 5mm.
How to turn the bike properly is that you standing beside the bike hold the front suspension parts (down tube) and one hand on the seat post (saddle seat). Then rotate slowly until the bike upside down.
3. Remove the front and rear wheels, open the front axle fasteners with a locking clip opening if there is, if your bike does not use the clip, you should use a spanner to fit bolts used as locking the front axles.
To remove the rear wheels, remove the rear axle fasteners, pull the teeth backward switching system (RD) rear derailleur enough so that the rear wheels can pull up and off.
4. cleaning drive systems (chains, gears, pedals, rear derailleur). Prepare a brush and soapy water. RD Start brushing with a brush soaked in soapy water, to use the chain cleaning a soft cloth towel, wet wipe with soapy water by turning the chain around your pedals so that the chain rotates the fore. Attach a rag on your bicycle chain so that the dirt is attached to the last lap.
Continue with cleaning Crank (front gear, the pedal arm and pedal) with a brush that was in the wet with soapy water, brush evenly and carefully so that all affected parts of the front drive of soapy water and grime off, then wipe with a clean cloth.
Clean the pedals and the gear side of the brush wetted with soapy water, continue to dry with a clean cloth.
5. Cleaning the bottom of the frame, use a cloth rag and soapy water. Wipe evenly to all parts of the frame, handle bars (front handlebar), the top tube (top frame), and seatways (rear frame). Do not forget to clean the teeth and the switching cable puller brake.
6. cleaning Wheel System.
Use a cloth rag and soapy water front and rear wheels, you can use a liquid cleaner if dirt is dirt that is difficult in the waste, eg using WD-40. Clean the dirt on the axle, wheel hubs and a whole including the radius of the wheel.
If you use your wheel disc brush thoroughly enough in all parts of the disc.
7. Checking Wheel System
Replace the front and rear wheels, make sure the clip is attached premises fasteners wheel well and can lock the wheels perfectly. Maybe we are a little difficulty to reinstall the rear wheel, rear gear input his tips between the chain and press down so it can go into the back seat with a perfect wheel, do it carefully.
After all the wheels attached check whether the front wheel and rear observe carefully whether or not rocking, if rocking likely spokes of a wheel needs to be re sets. You can fix it yourself by using a key or jari2 wheel bike brought to the workshop.
8. Check brake system
Is one part of the bike fital no brakes, if it can not function properly our safety is at stake. To check the front wheel brake stand in front of your bike and hit the front wheel brake, then pull the bike forward when the frame and lift the rear wheels means the front wheel brake is functioning properly, if not immediately replace the canvas with a front brake is still good.
For the rear wheel brake, stand in front of your bike and hit the rear brakes, if the front wheels broke up between your foot behind the brake may still function well, if not immediately check and replace the canvas with the new brakes.
Both tips for checking the braking system can be applied both brakes with V brakes or the brake disc. Check all of the cables or brake oil (brake dish with oil).
9. Lubricants
Tips to lubricate critical parts of your mountain bike is the chain, shifters, activator system front and rear wheels (FD-RD), PEDAN and pedal arm.
Use a good lubricating oil should not use the former, use special lubrication for the chain, many in the market is the lubricant for the chain motor vehicle wheel 2.
There are several reasons that make tires fast out, including:
* The pressure of wind less / excess
* Excessive burden
* Braking and excessive acceleration
* Conditions season (dry season tires will wear out faster)
* Power motorcycle tires big but relatively little use
* Material rubber tire compound (Compound software will run out faster than the hard compound)
Here are some tips for caring for tires:
* Check the air pressure and physical condition regularly.
* When using a standard motorcycle parked in the middle to reduce pressure on the tires at the same position at a time when the old one.
* Avoid contamination with harmful chemicals cairan2, Olie and gasoline immediately clean with soap and water if exposed to these fluids.
* Avoid contact with the sun a long time because it will make rubber tires changed character.
* For safety, replace the tires that had crossed the line TWI.
How to install the tires is good and right
In the tires installed there are some things to watch out for the safety of motorists and the durability of tires including:
* Use equipment that does not damage the tire or wheel.
* Make sure the wheel rim parallel to the line when installed.
* Make sure the swivel according to instructions.
* Check the air pressure to match the his standard.
* Adjust the size of the tires in the outer tire.
* Make sure that no foreign objects such as sharp gravel, glass or nails in the tires.
* Always use the rim tape to protect the inner tube from puncture spoke alloy wheels.
* Make sure that the tire valve position in accordance with the sign Valve position listed on the tires.
* Tighten the nuts in the tires as needed.
* After changing the rear tire to align the straight position of the front tires to prevent rocking.
* After the tires mounted pull brake lever a few times, especially the brake hydraulic brake pressure until it was back to normal to avoid the occurrence of brake relieved.

Tips Choosing a Bike

Choosing a suitable mountain bike often be a confusing, especially for beginners. Easy tips to overcome this is to first recognize the general types of mountain bikes is well intended. Then discuss with friends or an experienced mountain cyclists or join a virtual community (mailing lists).
Classic question for beginners usually revolve around:
(1) Do I get started with hardtail bike or full-suspension bike?
(2) Do I buy a bike or a full-frame and assembled with components of their own choice?
To choose the right bike, first decide what category to use. Do not let preparing XC bike but the setting used for Freeride or DH, could be worse outcome, and vice versa.
But if you are a fan of XC and all-time plays AM / XM / trailbike, there are several bicycles that have been designed like that. This means that the technical specifications for the AM / XM / trailbike, but because of light weight and its dynamic geometry, it is still comfortable enough for XC.
Whatever category the use of mountain bikes (MTB) you, like XC, AM, FR, or DH; you can always start with a full-suspension. Indeed most of the suggestions received by the beginners is, "start with a hardtail". By reason among others, to practice first with a less comfortable bike and better pedalling efficiency.
But for those who started (again) cycle over the age of 30 + are encouraged to give priority to comfort riding to reduce body fatique.
Currently available full-XC bike suspension with performance (efficiency) is equal or close to hardtail, such as a bicycle that uses brain shock or Non-Resonance System on the back.
But it all came back again on the budget available and how serious we will do this sport or hobby. One thing is certain, if our goal is not for competition cycling and more concerned with elements of sport, comfort and health; once again a full-suspension was not the wrong choice. Right now the entry-level full-suspension is more affordable especially when good-looking smart used bikenya
But if you choose HARDTAIL, nor obviously the wrong choice, many koq who started and still remain loyal to the hardtail. Eventually everything was back on personal preferences and goals.
THEN, how do you choose to assemble a bike or buy the already full-bike? If you simply make cycling for exercise or alternative transportation, then buy a full bike-bike will facilitate your choice. But if cycling is also a part of the hobby or your life-style, the bike is assembled by his own choice of components is clearly more satisfactory.
